After success in heavy metal and classical crossover music, becoming famous for her blistering guitar playing; "1 of 10 modern guitar gods" (Metal Hammer UK) and having viral videos for her historic guitar recordings of violin virtuoso pieces, she stunned the world with her hauntingly beautiful, crystal clear voice and excellent songwriting with this masterful album.
Recorded during her very painful, long recovery from serious health problems, caused by a dangerous parasite infection that left her bedridden for 18 months. At the time of the recording she only had energy to perform for around half an hour a day, delivering stellar performances, only to go back to sleep for days, after each session. No Autotune or other studio tricks were used on this album. What you hear is what she delivered. It would take 4 years, until late 2020, before she had fully recovered to her normal energy level and strength.
